It has also been used by airlines, airports, and railways for ID checks.
Insurance: The insurance industry has shown great interest in DigiLocker, with 27 companies and 430 million policies already onboarded. Eleven companies, including seven life insurance and four non-life insurance companies, are also set to arrive soon.
Financial Companies: Over 100 financial companies, including banks, NBFCs, insurance, e-commerce, digital lenders, payment companies, and fintechs, are at different stages of integration with DigiLocker.
Education: DigiLocker has over 450 million educational awards and certificates from 23 centers and state boards on a single platform.
