The UP Global Investor Summit 2023 was an event that brought together investors and citizens from all over India to showcase the digital initiatives being undertaken by the Government of India.
The summit took place from the 10-14th of February. Many Digital India projects were presented and discussed.
One of the highlights of the summit was the briefing given to investors by the Digital India team. The team introduced the investors to a variety of digital initiatives, including DigiLocker, NAD, ABC, API Setu, Openforge, MeriPehchaan, Umang, Poshan Tracker, myScheme, and many more. The investors expressed interest in these projects, and many of them expressed a desire to become Requestors as well as Issuers. They were also keen to learn more about utilizing the projects’ APIs and interacted with project experts for advice and guidance.
On the 13th and 14th of February, students from various schools and universities across the region visited the summit. They were particularly excited to learn about DigiLocker. A testimonial from a Digilocker user was also shared, explaining how Digilocker had saved the student time and hassle. Many of them already had the app installed on their mobile phones. Our experts from the ABC team explained the benefits of the ABC project, including entry and exit points and credit points, which were of particular interest to the students.
The CEO of Meity, Abhishek Singh, also interacted with citizens during the summit, highlighting the usefulness of the Bhashini project.
Overall, the Digital India stall was a fantastic platform for investors and citizens to learn more about the digital initiatives being undertaken in India. The summit highlighted the incredible work being done to bring digital technology to citizens, businesses, and governments across the country and left participants feeling inspired and energized.
